The A-List Dallas on Logo

News — YGA(dot)Net Staff @ 12:50 pm

The A-List Dallas / Photo Curtousey of LogoTvThe next best thing for LogoTv, a subsidiary of MTV Corporation. The new series that is coming to LogoTv on October 10th is based in Dallas, Texas. The cast is 5 gay men and a girl. They are considered to be A-List (top of the line, money making) and have been chosen to be on a reality television show that follows their life.
As the cast seems to be a bit more masculine then the New York group, I still can foresee some gay drama coming right at us!
The Cast line-up was announced back in May of this year. We have done a small review of the boys and gal in the west!

Going Left to Right from the picture on the right.
Beau, 31, Photographer
Philip, 23, Socialite
Chase, 27, Real Estate & Equity Investor
Levi, 26, Former Rodeo Star & Fashion Designer
Ashley, 25, Photographer, Model, & Cheerleading Coach
James, 22, Trust Fund Baby

With this cast I can see some caddy-ness coming in this new series. If you are up for some gay drama and hot country boys tune in to LogoTv on Oct. 10th and watch this wonderful new series!

Glee Season 3 Premiere

News — YGA(dot)Net Staff @ 12:24 pm

Curtosey of Fox Networks    So last eve Glee’s new season started. With anyone who watched “The Glee Project” over the summer would know we have four new additions to the world of glee. Two of which are only going to be on for two episode write-ins. Well the other two got a seven episode guest staring role. With the show starting off picking up after the students return to school and on their second day back.
Mr. Schuester starts the season out by giving the group a project. The project is supposed to recruit new members to the group due to some losses during the summer time.
Quin has become a punk rocker and joined forces with THE SKANKS. She died her hair pink, got her nosed pierced, and a new tattoo. She quit Glee club to find her self.
Lauren Zizes quit Glee club because they lost nationals and she was afraid that her reputation would be compromised. She as well dumped Puck because he was staying with the Gleeks.
As well as these two quitting Glee Club to find themselves and to save their reputations. The Glee Club has many Seniors this year including Kurt, Blaine, Fin, and Mike Chang.
As we can see from the picture above of Blaine he is wearing his Warblers outfit. Well about half way thru the first episode he shows up at McKinley in plain clothes to surprise Kurt with the fact that he transfer to McKinley High School.
With all this going on with the cast, Sue Sylvester once again engages in war with the Glee Club. In the season premiere we find out that Sue is running for a Government Position. She is determined to destroy the Arts program to cut budget for the schools and boost her poll spot. On the other side of the fight Mr. Schuester is ready to fight back. During the season premiere Mr. Schu glitter bombs Coach Sylvester during cheerios try-outs.
This season already seems to have a lot going for it. It should turn out to be a very interesting season. May even be the most interesting so far, especially with the casting changes that have been made.

Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell is DEAD!!!

News — YGA(dot)Net Staff @ 4:11 pm

As of this morning September 20th, 2011 at 12:01A.M. Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell is dead.

Back in 1993 under the Clinton Administration a Law was put in place called Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell. This law stated that LGBT persons were not allowed to openly serve in the United States Military and that if they were open they would be discharged for it. After a 18 year struggle of repealing the law that banned us and our fellow LGBT members the law is gone.

The members of the United States Armed Forces that were discharged under DADT now face another obstacle, REAPPLYING. Many members that were discharged are not sure weather they can go back or not. Others are just too old, or their jobs are no longer needed, or there department is full. These members do not get higher consideration and have to go through the same process that all other former Military members must go through to reapply. That being said leaves no guarantee to any of them of going back.

From the Huffington Post:

It took nearly a year for the President’s plan to jell. And it would be another painful year before the winning votes on Capitol Hill. And after that, another seven months would pass before Jeh Johnson would hand-deliver the signed Gates and Mullen certification to the White House for the President’s signature and transmitted to Capitol Hill. All in all, not that long for a successful legislative and military operation, but inordinately protracted for advocates and especially long for gay and lesbian service members being discharged every day under DADT and for those serving in silence. Seanson 3 Glee Premiere

News — Louis Zook @ 9:27 pm

Only two more nights until the Season 3 Premiere airs on Fox. This season from what I can tell so far from the previews, should be quite interesting. Not sure how many of you watched this summers best show, The Glee Project, but I think the addition of the winners of “The Glee Project” will be amazing. With many new angles that seem to becoming this season I am really stoked about what is to come. Once the episode airs on Tuesday night, I will right an article recapping what happened. I hope everyone enjoys the new season.

Webiste Update Information

Updates — Louis Zook @ 9:21 pm

Hello fellow web browser.Let me take this moment and thank you for coming to YGA(dot)Net.

If you are a gay individual looking for information about who you are and what rights you have, you have come to the right place. This website was set up three years ago to bring support to gay, lesbian, and transgender individuals. A well as their parents, families, friends, & co-workers.

Approximately 2 weeks ago I got this idea from my friend Ken Granger, owner of Arranging Pixels, to switch over to Word Press Content Management. This has been the best transition for this website ever. We have boosted our ratings in the search results and have brought more viewers. I was also shown how to create a better search-able website that would create more search results in searches and boost our site up from the back pages of the internet. With this I am hoping to gain more exposure with this website.

So, on that note. If you find there is something that you would like added to this website, please let me or my staff know. You can do this by going to the contact us page and contacting the specific department for you idea or concern.

Thank You,
Louis Zook
